MONTMELO, Spain (AP) Using its innovative steering wheel system, Mercedes continued to dominate in Formula One preseason testing on Friday, with Valtteri Bottas leading teammate Lewis Hamilton at the Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit.

MONTMELO, Spain (AP) Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas sent an ominous signal to their challengers after clocking the two fastest lap times on the first day of Formula One's preseason testing.

Hamilton set the top time of Wednesday's opening session's of 1 minute, 16.976 seconds, after he took over from Bottas behind the wheel of the new Silver Arrow for the 2020 season. Bottas' best effort was 0.337 seconds slower. Read More...

MONTMELO, Spain (AP) Former champion Kimi Raikkonen enters the new season with a chance to break Formula One's record for most race starts.

MONTMELÓ, Spain (AP) Formula One teams Alfa Romeo and Haas unveiled their cars for the new season on Wednesday.

Former champion Kimi Raikkonen and teammate Antonio Giovinazzi pulled the tarp off their Alfa Romeo at the Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit just before preseason testing began. The new car, called Alfa Romeo C39, maintains the team’s white and red livery. Read More...
